MTO/GMTO Returns

All MTO/GMTO shoes are NON-RETURNABLE NOR EXCHANGEABLE.

UNITED STATES:

All shoe purchases shipped within the United States include free shipping via UPS. We will use the Ground Shipping option with tracking for this service.

Should one desire UPS for a faster option, extra charges will be required.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

All shoe purchases are shipped with tracking, using UPS and/or USPS.

For Remote Labeled Areas (via the UPS site) a surcharge of the price difference between what we normally pay and what they are quoting will be required to make shipment.
We look to ship out all purchases 1-2 working days after the time of purchase (weekends not included). During "Sale" periods we aim to ship between 2 -4 days after the time of purchase as the increase in orders affects our ability to be any quicker.
The USPS services used within the US, 2-day priority mail, aim to arrive within 2-3 working days depending on location. This is not a guarantee, however. Your tracking number provided will keep you up to date with your parcel
For a general guide on shipping cost, please refer to our shipping chart below.
We ensure each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes on to the customer. If you are not the receiver of your purchase (for example a gift order) then the person who signs for the package confirms receipt and is accountable for the package.
All goods ordered will ONLY be shipped to the credit/debit card billing address.

J.FitzPatrick shoes have a very standard fit when compared to most other dress shoe brands. Our sizes are based on the UK standard where ‘E’ is the “medium” width being equivalent to a US ‘D’ width. If you have always been size UK10, then this is what you should expect to be in our footwear as well.

All five of our lasts were created on the same body, only changing the shape of the toe, thus ensuring a standard fit from heel to ball of foot, across all models. However, one must take into account that loafers will fit differently to oxfords and oxfords will fit differently to derbys, so while you may feel good in the fit of an oxford, the same size in a derby might feel loose due to the extra room in the instep created from the open lacing. This has nothing to do with size however, but more so the nature of the different models in footwear.

Understanding this will help you choose your size more accurately.

  • Our insteps would be considered generous.
  • All shoes with 6 eyelets will be even more generous in the instep.
  • Any model in full suede will feel more generous to its leather counterpart.
  • The boots have a forgiving instep in order for you to get into them easily.
  • Any monkstrap made on the MGF or LPB will feel more generous to it's oxford counterpart.
  • If you wear your oxfords very snug, then size up for your loafers. However, for most we recommend taking the same size as your oxfords.

SEA Last

The SEA last is our pointed symmetrical last, very reminiscent of a many French and Italian style lasts of similar symmetrical cuts.

The pointed nose of the SEA last makes a very serious shape for wearing with your more business like attire. While not impossible to wear with jeans, we see it more of a dress shoe last to wear with your classic business suits, think navy 2 button SB or your classic double breasted suit.

Being another one of our more refined lasts in terms of fit, the SEA is certainly more suited for a narrow to medium width foot.

Facts
  • Narrower/shallower forefoot
  • Less voluminous instep but not a low instep
  • Not good for wide feet
  • Elongated last
  • Hugging arch area
Keep the same size if you wear the below:
-- Allen Edmonds 5/65 last (Bearing in mind US/UK sizing of one different i.e US10 is a UK9)
-- Crockett & Jones 348 last and ones that fit similarly
-- Carmina lasts (exception Simpson)
-- Cole Haan
